For the Sake of the Living G*d

How do I go about expressing from this very fallible vessel, that truth of the G*d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for all who visit this site, no matter what their spiritual background or religious training. I myself am a Jew. I am grateful to be that and yet I know that in G*d's plan there is a
place and task for all people. Our sages say that there is a place for the righteous of all nations/peoples in the World to Come (Olam HaBa).

So what is it then that WE are to be doing in this world (Olam HaZeh) that opens the place for
each and every one of us in that coming existence?

I believe that all of us are seeking after what is the central theme of life, the foundational principles that transcend our differences and work to bring a sense of harmony between us -
that we are somehow, from our varied starting points, producing a common chord, proceeding toward a common goal and supreme good, that resonates a kind of spiritual A440 in the core of each human soul.

This vibration or tone, if you will, touches something that is beyond us and yet so intrinsic
to who we are as creatures in this world, a plane of extreme dichotomy and, at times, even irony.
Is this resonance to our spirit like beautiful and soothing sounds to the ear? Or rainbow colors to our eyes, vibrant or through softening mist?

I'd like to think out loud, discuss, reason, test the possibilities and try to reach some truths that ring true no matter what, why, when, how, where or who.

When I chose the name Living Truth, it was meant to be both noun and verb. To me, as I think it would be to most, if not all, the most important aspect would be the verb - living so that we are doing good based on what we know to be true.

I have so very far to go. As Isaiah (Y'sha'yahu) spoke in a moment of awe,"Woe is me....I am a man of unclean lips..." Though, I do feel this way, I am certainly no prophet. I am a fellow human looking to find a way to connect not only with the One who made her, but the others of worth in this vast and awesome creation.

May we all find and embrace the beauty in life: light for our souls, joy, awe and wonder, the peace of contentment and most of all, the love of true, deep relationship, along this challenging journey.

Shalom,
Dodi
